Jaipur. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma inspected the Malsisar Dam for drinking water supply in Jhunjhunu district from Indira Gandhi Canal Project on Monday and gave necessary guidelines to the officials. He said that it is the priority of the state government to provide adequate drinking water and water to the Shekhawati region and we are working with commitment for this.
Yamuna water agreement is being implemented
On this occasion, Sharma said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state government will fulfill every promise made to the public, realizing the resolve of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas’. He said that as soon as we were formed, we first signed an MoU on the Yamuna Water Agreement from the Haryana government to bring Yamuna water to Shekhawati. The implementation of this agreement is being ensured as our government does what it says.
He also expressed reverence and respect to the Ranbankur here, highlighting the cultural heritage of Shekhawati. During this time, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stone of the water harvesting structure from Karma Bhoomi and offered prayers.
Vishwakarma Skill Development Board Chairman Ram Gopal Suthar, MLA Rajendra Bhanu, Vikram Singh Jakhal, District Head Harshini Kulhari and other public representatives and officials were present on the occasion.
