New Delhi. The issue of increasing anarchy in West Bengal is getting more heated. West Bengal Congress President and former MP Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary has sent a letter to President Draupadi Murmu urging her to intervene to improve the law and order situation in the state. Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary has written in his letter that the facts related to the situation in West Bengal should be considered in a way which is not good for our democratic society. He has written that being a person who is continuously working in social life, I am requesting you that as the head of the nation, give justice to the people of West Bengal.

“…Considering the facts of the situation prevalent in the State of West Bengal – which does not all auger well for our democratic society – I, as a person who has always been actively involved in Public life sincerely plead with you, as the Head of the Nation, to ensure Justice… pic.twitter.com/Sm9XLPt2IZ

Earlier, BJP has been continuously attacking Mamata Banerjee’s government over violence and other issues in West Bengal. West Bengal BJP President Sukanta Majumdar had recently said that he had met PM Narendra Modi and given a presentation. In which the similarities between North Bengal and Northeast were highlighted. Sukanta Majumdar had said that in this presentation it was told how North Bengal can be included in the Northeast. Reacting to this statement of Sukanta Majumdar, Kalyan Banerjee, MP of Mamata’s party TMC, had said that those who try to divide Bengal will be taught a lesson. Mamata Banerjee has also expressed displeasure over this statement of Sukanta Majumdar.

BJP’s Sukanta Majumdar had said that he has requested PM Modi to include North Bengal in the Northeast.

At the same time, BJP MP from Godda, Jharkhand, Nishikant Dubey had said in the Lok Sabha that Murshidabad, Malda of West Bengal, Santhal Pargana of Jharkhand, Kishanganj of Bihar etc. should be combined to form a Union Territory. He said that infiltration is taking place from Bangladesh in these areas. To stop this, it is necessary to take this step.

BJP’s Nishikant Dubey had demanded in the Lok Sabha that Bengal’s Murshidabad and Malda be merged with some parts of Jharkhand and Bihar to make a Union Territory.
