Tonk. The Baroni police station of the district took strict action against illegal gravel transport and mining and seized a tractor-trolley. This action is part of the police’s efforts to curb illegal gravel business in the area.
Giving information in this regard, the police officer Brijendra Singh said that the police patrol team was regular monitoring in the area of village Mandawar. Meanwhile, the police team illegally caught a tractor-trolley while transporting gravel. The trolley was completely filled with illegal gravel. The police team took immediate action and seized the tractor-trolley.
The police officer said that the seized tractor-trolley has been parked in the police station premises for security, including gravel. The police is now taking further legal action in this case, identifying the tractor owner and other persons involved in illegal transport of gravel and a case will be registered against them. This action is part of the campaign being run against illegal mining and transport by the Baroni police station.
Police say illegal gravel mining and transport in the area pose a serious threat to the environment and will not be tolerated at any cost. He has also appealed to the common man to immediately inform the police if they get any information about illegal mining or transport so that this illegal activity can be effectively controlled. The police is further said to continue such action so that law and order in the area remains and illegal mining can be completely banned.
