Jodhpur. District Collector Gaurav Aggarwal directed all district level officials to maximize digital technology in their departmental works during the weekly review meeting at Marwar International Center on Monday. He said that the functioning should be strengthened through online portals and mobile apps for quick solutions of departmental schemes, services and public affairs.
He clearly instructed that the disposal of all the files running under the E File System should be made mandatory. He said that the unnecessarily pending files reflect administrative laxity and apathy and should be stopped at every level. Ensuring transparency and accountability under e-governance is the priority of the administration.
Aggarwal, especially on the effective use of the contact portal 2.0 app, said that the officers should regularly monitor the cases recorded in their respective departments. He said that a quick solution and public confidence of problems is possible only with regular review and sustainable surveillance.
Giving a message to take seriously the progress of public welfare schemes and the resolution of public affairs, he said that the public will get the real benefit of the schemes only when departmental coordination is effective and all the officials work with sensitivity.
The meeting also reviewed the pending contempt cases in the courts, instructions of Chief Minister and VIP Cell, reports of Human Rights Commission and subjects related to inter -divisional coordination. The District Collector directed to ensure timely and concrete action in all these cases.
The outline and preparations of the upcoming International Yoga Day 2025 were also discussed in detail in the review meeting. He asked the concerned departments to coordinate and move towards effective organizing.
Municipal Corporation North and South Commissioner Siddharth Palanichami, Additional District Collector (First) Jawahar Chaudhary, Additional District Collector (Second) Surendra Singh Purohit and all departmental officers were present in the meeting.
