Chandigarh. Krishna Lal, a member of the Rogi Kalyan Samiti of GMCH, Sector 16, who is also a spokesperson of the Chandigarh Congress, has urged the officials of Chandigarh to pay attention to the poor condition of the civil dispensary in Grain Market.
He said that long long grass is grown here, there are piles of dirt, due to the low space on the back, rainy water also stands for several days, which has unbearable smell and mosquitoes are also born. He said that the general public goes there to treat their illness, but it is known that this dispensary itself is ill. He said that just as the officers cheat the water and dirt by checking coolers etc. in the houses shops of the people, similarly the officers and employees responsible for this disorder spread in this dispensary should also be fined.
Krishna Lal said that other officials including the administrator keep visiting the grain market from time to time, they should also visit this dispensary. He suggested to Chief Engineer CB Ojha, who is also a member of the Rogi Kalyan Samiti, that if the grass is cut from the back place of the dispensary and leveling the place, then there can be a lot of space for parking. He said that he would raise the issue in the next meeting of the committee.
