A brother kidnapped a two -year -old child as his sister was a childless child. Even after about 18 years of marriage, the sister of the accused was upset due to no children. Seeing the sister upset, the brother did something that brought her behind bars.
A brother kidnapped a 2 -year -old child in broad daylight to give birth to his sister, but the police finally caught her. But on seeing the police, the kidnappers opened fire on the police, after which both of them were shot in retaliation and the police caught them. After which the police recovered the child safely.
Accused arrested after encounter
The case is on February 24, a person named Chhotu sells fruits in Phulbagh Sabzi Mandi located in the Feelkhana police station area and he also stays nearby with his family. Karthi, a two -year -old son of Chhotu at around 4:30 pm on February 24, was playing with other children from the neighborhood outside the house. Meanwhile, two unknown people came there on the bike and after seeing the opportunity, took Karthik. When the child was not found even after finding the family, the child’s mother Guddi Devi complained to the Feelkhana police station.
The police registered a case under the kidnapping sections and started investigation and checked CCTV footage of the surrounding area. In one footage, the police were seen carrying the child on two bikes. After which the police set up several teams to recover the child. Along with this, the police also activated its informant system. After scrutinizing more than a hundred CCTV footage, the police found the bike number and then arrested the kidnappers after the encounter on Sunday (March 3).
The accused fired on the police
Revealing the case on Sunday, DCP Crime Ashish Srivastava said that after checking several CCTV footage, a footage was clearly seen carrying a bike riding child, in which the number of the bike was also clear. The police team reached the bike owner through the bike number. On Sunday night, when the police tried to catch them, the kidnappers fired on the police team near Bhagwatdas Ghat. In the counter -firing of the police, both the miscreants were shot in the leg. The injured are being treated in the district hospital. In the police interrogation, the accused named their names Rajjan and Pankaj.
During interrogation, the accused made shocking disclosure
In the police interrogation, Rajjan said that his sister was married 18 years ago, but since then he did not have a single child. Due to which the in -laws used to assault their sister. The sister used to be constantly upset. The sister asked the father to adopt the child several times but could not find the child. After which I started looking for a child for my sister with my friend Pankaj Gupta. In search of the child, both of them searched many places including railway stations, bus stands, but nothing was found. On February 24, many children were playing near Phulbagh vegetable market. A small child appeared, there was no elder person around him, so seeing the opportunity, he picked up the child by bike and ran away.
Both brought the children, but when the child did not recover from them, Rajjan gave the child to his younger sister Neetu. Then Rajjan, Pankaj and Neetu reached their elder sister with the child. Rajjan told his elder sister that a woman from Fatehpur from the border bought a child for four and a half lakhs. A fake affidavit in the name of Seema Devi was also made to convince the sister. Rajjan and Pankaj had also recovered half the money from the elder sister in the name of the child.
When the police team reached the kidnappers on Sunday night, Rajjan’s elder sister was in the hospital due to illness. There was also a child in it, which was recovered by the police after the encounter after questioning Rajjan and Pankaj. Police arrested Rajjan, Pankaj and Rajjan’s younger sister Neetu in the case and sent them to jail. At the same time, the child’s family is happy to find his child and thank the police.
