The police have recovered the body from the house and arrested the accused. In fact, the police received a complaint about the body of a woman in a house in Garhi area of Mussoorie police station area. After this, the police reached the spot. The body of a woman was lying on the bed inside the house. The body was about 4 days old, rotten and smells.
According to the information, the arrested accused Bharat is originally from Dariyapur village in Hapud. She told the police during interrogation that 3 years ago a woman named Sunita came in contact with her. After this, both of them started living together. Sunita’s first husband Man Singh died in 2012. Both of them married each other about a year ago. This was the second marriage of these two. Accused Bharat was divorced from his first wife. A few days ago Bharat met his first wife and started asking for expenses from him. Bharat gave some money to his first wife. Bharat’s second wife Sunita came to know about this. A dispute started between Bharat and Sunita about this.
He was killed on 28 February while drunk
On February 28, Bharat strangled Sunita to death due to alcohol. After the murder, the body remained in the house for two nights. He used to come home during the day and go back to work after seeing the dead body. He was a salesman at a liquor store. In this case, the police have registered a case on the complaint of the deceased’s son Rahul and arrested the accused.

ACP Naresh Kumar said that on 2 March 2024, it was reported that 55 -year -old Bharat has killed his wife 51 -year -old Sunita in Mohalla Ambedkar Nagar. On the information, the police recovered the body and arrested the accused. The body has been sent for post -mortem. The case is being investigated.
