Rohit Sharma last played a Duleep Trophy match in 2016 for India Blue. He scored 30 runs in the first innings and 75 runs in the second innings while playing against India Red. Gautam Gambhir was the captain of India Blue at that time. His team registered a spectacular victory by 355 runs. In that match, Cheteshwar Pujara scored an unbeaten 256 runs, hitting a double century.
Virat Kohli last played in the Duleep Trophy in the year 2010. Then he played a match for North Zone against West Zone. In this match, Kohli played an innings of 56 runs and was the top scorer for North Zone. The entire team of North Zone was reduced to just 294 runs. After this, West Zone scored a mountainous score of 769 runs and finally the match was drawn.

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have retired from the T20 International format and now their focus is on ODIs and Tests. In the coming months, Team India has to play two Tests against Bangladesh, three Tests against New Zealand and five Tests against Australia.
