New Delhi: With the announcement of the dates for the assembly elections in Jammu-Kashmir and Haryana A big meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party is going to be held in Delhi today. All the national office bearers of the party as well as the state presidents and state organization ministers of all the states will also attend this meeting. This meeting will be chaired by the party’s national president JP Nadda. Many important issues are likely to be discussed in this meeting. The party will also discuss the membership campaign.
Membership campaign will start from September 1
Earlier, a meeting of the party’s general secretaries was held at the residence of National President JP Nadda late on Friday night. In this meeting, it was decided that before starting the official process of the election of the National President, the party will start the national membership campaign across the country from September 1.
Organization elections after membership drive
In BJP, organisational elections are held only after the membership campaign. According to the party’s constitution, after the membership campaign, the president is elected from Mandal, district and state level to the national level. Along with this, in the meeting held at Nadda’s residence late on Friday night, the agenda of the meeting of national office bearers to be held in Delhi on Saturday was also approved.
Preparations for assembly elections were also discussed
In today’s meeting, the party’s national membership campaign as well as the organisational elections will be discussed. It is being told that in the meeting of the national general secretaries, preparations for the assembly elections to be held in Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir were also discussed.
Many leaders including BL Santosh attended the meeting
Apart from the party’s National Organization General Secretary BL Santosh and National Joint Organization General Secretary Shiv Prakash, National General Secretaries Sunil Bansal, Radha Mohan Das Aggarwal, Vinod Tawde, Tarun Chugh, Arun Singh and Dushyant Gautam attended the meeting of National General Secretaries held at his residence under the chairmanship of JP Nadda.
