After two years of corona infection, a huge crowd of devotees reached the temples today and the whole atmosphere became devotional. In the main temples of the capital, Jhandewalan Devi Temple, Birla Mandir, Chhatarpur Temple, Kalkaji Temple and Gufawala Temple of Preetvihar, a huge number of Shiva devotees reached the temples on Tuesday to have darshan of their adorable deity. On the occasion of Mahashivratri, all the temples resonated with the slogans of Har Har Mahadev.
Nandkishore Sethi, chief administrator of Jhandewalan Devi Temple, told AnyTV that the doors of the temples have been opened since Monday. Till now devotees were being allowed entry only through one gate due to corona infection, but now after the ban is lifted, all the gates of the temple have been opened and devotees from all sides are having darshan of Lord Shiva in the temple.
He told that the Corona guideline is still being followed to enter the temple. Arrangements have been made for the devotees to sanitize their hands before entering the temple. After checking the temperature of all the devotees, they are being allowed to enter the temple only if they do not have fever. But now those restrictions have been lifted in which devotees could not offer prasad and flowers in the temple. Now the entry of children has also been allowed in the temple.
Rudrabhishek is being organized in the temple for the devotees who had made prior booking for conducting Rudrabhishek on the occasion of Mahashivratri. But the devotees who have not made any booking are having darshan of Lord Shiva in the temple, they are also participating in the puja.
Vinod Kumar Mishra, Chief Administrator of Birla Temple said that now there is no restriction on the entry of devotees in the temple, so huge crowd of devotees is reaching the temple to have darshan. Even on Tuesday, a huge crowd of devotees is reaching the temple. Devotees started queuing in the temple from morning itself, which continued till late in the evening. Similarly, in Kalkaji temple, Gufawala temple and other temples also devotees reached to have darshan of Lord Shiva.
