New Delhi. Under the Agneepath scheme, the Modi government at the Center is continuously taking steps to ensure that those who are recruited as Agniveers in the army do not face any further job problems. It has already been told by the Modi government that Agniveers who retire after 4 years will be given 10 percent reservation in various central government jobs. Apart from this, UP, Uttarakhand, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and so on have also talked about recruiting in the police here. Now government sources say that the government has also taken steps to make Agniveers technically strong. Under this, the responsibility of deciding the course of technical education has been given to AICTE and IIT.
AICTE i.e. All India Council of Technical Education and IIT will jointly prepare such courses and modules, which will be taught to Agniveers. Agniveer will do this course as soon as he is in the army and after that when he retires, with the help of technical education, he will get a lot of help in getting a job again in corporate and other sectors. The army has already said that it is going to help the 10th pass Agniveers to do 12th and graduation.
National Open School NIOS and Indira Gandhi Open University IGNOU will conduct special courses for the further studies of Agniveers. Agniveer will be able to complete all these courses only while on duty. The Central Government will also bear all the expenses of conducting these courses. In this, skill development of Agniveers will be done every semester. During graduation, certificate will be given in one year, diploma in two years and degree in three years. This will open the doors of the future for Agniveers and they will be able to easily fit into the jobs of all the sectors.
