Due to the direct fall of ultraviolet or UVA rays on the skin, problems like fungal infection, skin burn, ringworm, itching, skin rashes, etc. are increasing rapidly. The number of patients suffering from skin-related diseases has increased rapidly in SN Medical College, Agra. 25 percent more people are reaching the OPD as compared to normal days.
Temperature broke the record of 124 years
On Tuesday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 48.6 degrees Celsius. The hot winds are scorching the skin amidst the high temperature. In such a situation, not only cough-cold and diarrhea, but the number of skin diseases is also increasing. The number of patients suffering from diseases like ringworm, itching, cirrhosis etc. has also increased in the OPD of the Skin Disease Department of the Medical College Hospital. The highest number of patients in the OPD are those with sunburn and ringworm and itching.
Department head Dr. Yatend Chahar said that the number of patients in OPD has increased because the heat is very high. After years, the temperature has reached 48 degrees. Such high temperature is not good for the screen in any way. The direct rays of the sun are burning the skin. At such a time, it is very important to keep your skin hydrated.

According to Dr. Yatend Chahar, Head of the Skin Department, sunscreen is a must. Apply sunscreen on every exposed part of the body 15 minutes before leaving the house. Do not let the body get dehydrated and drink five to eight liters of water. According to him, add glucose to water and drink it or you can add salt and sugar.
Among other measures, he said that while going out, keep your face covered and wear glasses. Wear cotton and loose clothes and avoid wearing tight clothes. He told the field workers to take a good bath in the morning and evening and everyone should drink buttermilk, lemonade, sherbet, coconut water. Apart from this, eat lots of oranges, watermelon, melon, cucumber and gherkin. Also keep in mind that do not go out in the scorching sun.
