Uttar Pradesh News Desk: Work on the second corridor of the metro going from Agra Cantt to Kalindi Bihar has started. This entire route will be elevated. The metro will pass over Bhagwan Talkies flyover, which will reach towards the Dargah of Abul Ullah. From here, the corridor will run along the highway till the end of the flyover in Sultanganj. After that the corridor will again turn towards Langde ki Chowki. After this, the metro will remain on the right side of the National Highway till Kalindi Bihar. The metro bridge on Yamuna will also be built in the same direction.

Let us tell you that a 29.4 kilometer long metro network is being built in Agra. 13 stations will be constructed from Taj Mahal East Gate to Sikandra, which includes seven underground and six elevated stations. Work is going on at a fast pace on this corridor. Whereas, there will be 14 stations in the second corridor, which will go from Agra Cantt to Kalindi Bihar. Construction of the second corridor has also started. Metro officials said that the metro starting from Agra Cantt will travel through Jeet Singh Stadium and reach Sadar Bazar station. From here, the metro corridor will be built in the middle of the road, which will connect Agra College Junction after Pratappura Collectorate. After this, the metro on MG Road will go to Hari Parvat, Sanjay Place, MG Road station, MG Road station will be built near Diwani. After this, the metro corridor will be lifted and will pass over the Bhagwan Talkies flyover. Which will turn towards Abul Ullah Dargah. From here the metro will reach Sultanganj Crossing station by moving on the left side of the National Highway. As soon as the Sultanganj flyover is crossed, the metro corridor will turn towards the right side, which will reach towards Langde ki Chowki. Kamla Nagar station will be built around here. A metro bridge will be constructed on Yamuna in this direction. Metro will run on the right side till Rambagh, Foundry Nagar, Mandi Samiti and Kalindi Bihar station.

Interchange will be built at Agra College

The metro station being built at Agra College is very special from the metro point of view. Metro is building an interchange station here. This station will connect both the corridors. From here people will be able to change metro for the first corridor and second corridor. Agra College Ground has been made the interchange station of these two corridors.
