Agra North MLA candidate Accident News: Gwalior (Naiduniya representative). The car (Innova) of BJP candidate from Agra North assembly constituency, Purushottam Khandelwal, was hit by a dumper from behind at Mehra toll plaza on Thursday afternoon. Due to this the car was damaged from behind, fortunately the MLA narrowly escaped. Police officials reached the spot and took the dumper to Siraul police station. The MLA candidate was going from Agra to Datia, so far he has not filed a report.
Purushottam Khandelwal, former state vice-president and MLA candidate of BJP Uttar Pradesh, was going to Datia by car on Thursday via Gwalior Sirol bypass. The driver, driving the dumper at high speed, hit his car from behind near Mehra Toll. There was no injury to the security personnel including the candidate and his companions in the accident, the car was damaged from behind. Purushottam was responsible for the meeting of the Prime Minister in Gorakhpur. He returned to Agra after holding a meeting in Gorakhpur. From Agra again left for Datia. However, after the accident, he returned to Agra in another vehicle.
On the information of the collision, Senior Superintendent of Police Amit Sanghi and Additional Superintendent of Police Rajesh Dandotia sent Sirol police station to the spot. Police seized the dumper from the spot and caught the driver and the cleaner.

BJP leader Purushottam Khandelwal’s car has been damaged in a dumper collision. He was contacted over the phone to file a report. He told that now he has returned back to Agra. No case has been registered against the dumper driver yet.
