Israel-Iran Conflict : Air India has suspended its flights to and from Tel Aviv, Israel, with immediate effect in view of the increasing tension in some parts of the Middle East. The airline said that these services will remain suspended till further notice. Air India said that it is continuously monitoring the situation. The airline has also offered refunds to passengers with confirmed bookings to and from Tel Aviv. The airline said that the safety of our guests and crew is our top priority. The Tata Group-owned company had earlier suspended its services from the national capital Delhi to Tel Aviv till August 8.
Tension increased after the death of Hamas chief
Tensions have increased in the Middle East since the death of Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh in Iran. Meanwhile, American media house Axios had claimed that according to US and Israeli officials, Iran could attack Israel. US Central Command Force Chief General Michael Kurella also reached Tel Aviv to help Israel in preparing to deal with Iran’s attack. At the same time, in view of the threat, America has increased the deployment of weapons in the Middle East. According to the US Defense Department Pentagon, new fighter jets, destroyers and aircraft carriers are being sent to protect US soldiers deployed in the Middle East and Israel.
Iran may attack Israel
Some reports said that Iran could attack Israel on August 5, but this did not happen.
