Shankar’s seat was 8-A. Whereas, Saugata Bhattacharjee’s seat was 8-C. Means he was on the window seat in Shankar’s row. According to Saugata, he had also informed the flight crew about Shankar’s condition and asked them to keep an eye on him. According to Saugata, when there was a sudden sound, he found Shankar lying on his seat. He seemed sleepy. Saugata further told that he went to the washroom, only then the old woman informed him that Shankar had urinated on him. Listen what Saugata told the channel.
The only eye-witness of Air India’s alleged urinating incident speaks to TIMES NOW.
I had informed the crew about Shankar drinking too much. Two air hostesses even went ahead & cleaned the victim’s clothes. I don’t know why procedure wasn’t followed: Sugata Bhattacharjee pic.twitter.com/MwXyuYmmYj

It is clear from Saugata’s statement that Air India staff did not help the elderly lady properly. Saugata is also telling that 4 seats were vacant in the first class, but no seat was given to the woman. He was kept on the crew seat for a long time. The woman had complained about the matter to Air India. After which the police was informed. Police is now taking action in this matter.
