Iran Israel Conflict: Amid rising tensions between Israel and Iran, Air India on Sunday decided to temporarily suspend flights to Tel Aviv. An official said that direct flights from Delhi to Tel Aviv will remain suspended for the time being. Earlier, Air India had issued an alert to flights passing through Iran’s air space. Air India operates four weekly flights between Delhi and the Israeli city. The Tata Group-owned company had resumed services to Tel Aviv on March 3 after a gap of nearly five months. Air India had suspended flights to Tel Aviv from October 7 last year following the Hamas attack on the Israeli city.
Iran attacked with 300 missiles and drones
This weekend, Iran launched a military attack on Israel after the attack on the Syrian Consulate in Syria on April 1. Iran launched about 300 missile and drone attacks on Israel. Foreign Ministry issued advisory
India on Friday asked its citizens not to travel to Iran and Israel. It is being said that now Indians will not be allowed to go to Israel to work in the construction sector. More than 6,000 workers were to leave for Israel in April and May. The Ministry of External Affairs has said that Indians living in Israel and Iran should be very cautious about their security. The ministry has said that Indians should not travel to these countries until further notice.
