Late Saturday night, Air India issued a statement on the trespassing incident at a London hotel. The airline said that it is not only providing immediate assistance but also offering professional counselling to the victim and her colleagues to help them overcome the traumatic incident.

An Air India spokesperson said, “Air India gives the highest priority to the safety, security and well-being of its crew and staff members. We are deeply saddened by the incident of an unlawful intrusion into a hotel operated by a major international chain, which resulted in harm to one of our crew members. We are providing all possible support, including professional counselling, to our colleague and her wider team. Air India is working closely with the local police to pursue the matter legally, and with the hotel management to ensure that such incidents are not repeated. We request that the privacy of those involved is respected.”
London police engaged in investigation
Air India requested that the privacy of the crew member involved be respected as the matter is being investigated by the London police. The airline also confirmed its cooperation with the local authorities to ensure a thorough investigation of the incident and justice for the victim. However, the airline has not officially commented on reports that the crew member was raped.
