Everything is increasing in the difficult times of Corona. After petrol, diesel, gold, now air travel is also getting expensive. The government has increased the price of aircraft fuel ie Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) by 18 percent., If it is converted into rupees, then its cost is Rs.17135.63. Due to this increase in prices, the price of ATF has crossed one lakh for the first time to reach its all time high price of 11066.29 per km.
After the increased prices, the ATF price has reached Rs.109119.83 in Mumbai, Rs.114979.50 in Calcutta and Rs.114133.97 per km in Chennai. Air travel will also be costlier now due to the increase in ATF prices. Because in airlines companies, almost half the cost is of ATF. Crude oil prices hit their 14-year high on the back of reports of a halt in crude oil supplies from Russia. Due to which aviation fuel is also becoming very expensive in India.
Since January 1, ATF prices have seen an increase of 6 times. Due to the depreciation of the rupee against the dollar, the fuel prices of petrol and diesel are also seeing a significant increase. In such a situation, before traveling by plane, you have to loose a lot of pockets, such scenes are being made.
