After 24 hours of talks, India has managed to evacuate the second batch of diplomats, officials and journalists from Kabul on board the C-17 heavy-lift Globemaster aircraft of the Indian Air Force. The Indian Air Force aircraft took off from Hamid Karzai airport at around 8 pm Kabul time with the help of US forces operating ATC. Indian Ambassador to Afghanistan Rudendra Tandon is on the flight along with 120 other diplomats and officials. An Air Force plane carrying Indians from Afghanistan reached Jamnagar at 11 am Indian time. After which the aircraft will leave from Jamnagar at Hindon airbase.
It is noteworthy that Indians stranded in Kabul were safely brought to India by Air India flight on Sunday. Who came to Delhi on Sunday evening. In which 129 passengers were on board.
