Airtel Q1 Results : Telecom service provider Bharti Airtel has reported impressive profits in the first quarter of the current financial year. The company’s consolidated net profit in the June quarter increased by more than 2.5 times to Rs 4,160 crore. The company had recorded a profit of Rs 1,612.5 crore in the same period a year ago. Bharti Airtel released its financial results for the April-June quarter of the current financial year on Monday. According to this, the company’s consolidated operating income rose to Rs 38,506.4 crore, which is 2.8 percent more than Rs 37,440 crore in the June quarter of last year.
Increase in ARPU
The company’s revenue from India business grew 10.1 percent year-on-year to Rs 29,046 crore in the April-June 2024 quarter. Bharti Airtel’s mobile average revenue per user (ARPU) in India increased to Rs 211 in the last quarter. Whereas in the same period a year ago it was Rs 200.

Amid heavy fall in the market, Bharti Airtel’s stock also closed down today. The company’s stock closed at Rs 1466 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, down 1.86 percent or Rs 27.75. The 52-week high of this stock is Rs 1539.10. Whereas, the 52-week low is Rs 847.60. The company’s market cap today on BSE was Rs 8,34,591.84 crore. The PE of this stock is 178.78 and PB is 8.84.
