New Delhi. Ajit Pawar has joined the Shinde government by handing over his uncle Sharad Pawar. In the presence of CM Eknath Shinde, Ajit Pawar took the oath of the post of Deputy CM along with 9 of his supporters, while on the other hand he also claimed that he has the support of 40 out of 55 NCP MLAs, after which the existence of NCP is in doubt. The clouds of trouble are hovering. However, Sharad Pawar, while talking to the media, claimed that he had faced similar situations before in his political career. He is confident that he will restore his party. However, now what steps do they take in the coming days. Everyone’s eyes will be fixed on this, but the kind of claims made by Ajit Pawar, if those claims turn into reality, then surely there will be a big political battle in Maharashtra.
On the other hand, Ajit Pawar has also made it clear that in the coming days he will stake claim on NCP and will also approach the Election Commission to get the election symbol. Overall, they are trying to project themselves as real NCP people. Note that in the past, a similar situation was seen in Shiv Sena as well, when Eknath Shinde opened a front against his own party. Shinde was calling himself a real Shiv Sainik. However, who is the real Shiv Sainik between Uddhav Thackeray and Shinde, it will be decided by the court in the coming days. On the other hand, Rajya Sabha MP and Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut made a big claim in front of the media on the ongoing political turmoil in NCP. He said in his claim that in the coming days all the leaders who joined Ajit Pawar will be disqualified by the Supreme Court.
Raut further said that Ajit Pawar’s move has made it clear that BJP is trying to end politics in Maharashtra. On the other hand, amidst the political struggle in Maharashtra, speculations are being made that in the coming days a similar situation can be seen in Bihar as well. In JDU, the anger of the leaders against Nitish Kumar has reached its peak. State President of Bihar BJP, Samrat Chaudhary said that the same fate will be met in the days to come by the parties which advocate family based parties. Meanwhile, in the press conference, Ajit Pawar was asked by a journalist whether Sharad Pawar has supported this step taken by him, to which he bluntly said that he has the support of NCP seniors. Now who is senior in NCP? There is no doubt in saying that there is no one more senior in NCP than Sharad Pawar. On the other hand, if we see according to the post, then his daughter Supriya Sule is also senior after him.
However, Ajit Pawar is older than Supriya. Note that when Ajit Pawar called a meeting of MLAs at his residence in the morning, Supriya Sule was also involved in it, but later she left for Pune from the meeting, where Sharad Pawar was keeping an eye on the entire political development. However, now after this statement of Ajit Pawar, it is bound to arise the question whether this step taken by him was supported by Sharad Pawar. At the moment, it is too early to comment on this.
