Alert regarding monkeypox, isolation wards ready in these hospitals of Delhi, suspected patients will come here

MPox Outbreak: The threat of monkeypox has started increasing in India after spreading from Central Africa to other countries of the world. Recently, due to monkeypox positive patients found in India’s neighboring country Pakistan and POK, the Indian government has declared an alert regarding this disease. Due to this, the Union Health Ministry has also made 3 hospitals of Delhi as nodal centers for monkeypox. Along with this, surveillance has been increased at the borders and airports.

These three hospitals became nodal centers
Lady Hardinge Medical College, RML Hospital and Safdarjung Hospital have been made nodal hospitals for monkeypox in Delhi by the central government. Isolation wards have been created for monkeypox patients in these hospitals. Where patients will be kept under observation along with treatment.
