Police has registered an FIR in the case of Kamal Dev’s suicide case in Nangli Vihar, Ranhaula. According to the police, the medical board of three doctors conducted a postmortem at Maulana Azad Medical College on Saturday. The body was then handed over to the family members. Kamaldev’s brother Aryan said that earlier in the evening, the police had handed over the body of Kamaldev to the family. All the family members cremated him at the Nangli Dairy crematorium. We are waiting for further action.
Police accused of giving third degree
In this case, the outer district police say a case has been registered at Ranhaula police station based on the suicide note found and the statement made by the relatives of the deceased, in which action is being taken under the abetment of suicide. There may also be arrest in this case after interrogation and further investigation. The family members of the deceased have accused the policeman of Dwarka North police station of giving a third degree, which the police have denied.
Kamaldev used to work on contract in IPU
Kamaldev used to work as a scavenger on a contract through a company at IP University. Family members said that Kamaldev’s uncle Raju Sah also works in the same university. Gold jewels were stolen from the bag of women supervisor of the company through which Kamaldev worked in the university. The police had registered a case on the complaint of the same woman. The woman also expressed suspicion of theft on Kamaldev. After this, he was also questioned on Thursday and then on Friday morning, Kamaldev’s body was found hanging from the noose.
