Noida. In the case of assault at a petrol pump in Sector 95 of Noida, troubles of Aam Aadmi Party MLA from Delhi Amanatullah Khan and his son Anas Khan seem to be increasing. Noida police is preparing for attachment of property against absconding Amanatullah Khan and his son. Noida police has imposed sections 147, 149, 452, 307, 394, 34 of IPC and sections of SC-ST Act on Amanatullah Khan and Anas Khan. Apart from Amanatullah Khan and Anas Khan, Abubakar is also an accused in this case. Abubakar is also absconding and his property will also be attached.
Amanatullah Khan, son Anas and associate Abubakar are absconding and Hindi newspaper Navbharat Times has quoted sources as saying that a reward may be declared on all three. After the fight at the petrol pump in Noida, Noida police has visited Amanatullah Khan’s house in Delhi several times, but the Aam Aadmi Party MLA and his son were not found there. Abubakar is also still out of police’s reach. Noida police has also deployed several teams to arrest Amanatullah Khan, Anas Khan and Abubakar. At the same time, after not getting relief from the district court, Amanatullah Khan has now filed an application in the High Court for anticipatory bail and relief from police action.
According to Noida Police, Amanatullah Khan, Anas Khan and Abubakar’s mobile phones are also switched off. Due to this, there is difficulty in tracking their location. According to the newspaper, all the accused including Amanatullah Khan can also surrender in the court. Amanatullah Khan is already accused of recruitment scam in Delhi Waqf Board. ED has also questioned Amanatullah Khan in that case. In connection with Delhi Waqf Board recruitment scam, ED had also raided the houses of Amanatullah Khan and many of his close associates. ED sources had then claimed to have recovered many documents including unlicensed weapons.
