Delhi: AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan reached his residence after appearing before the Enforcement Directorate. In fact, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday arrested the AAP MLA after questioning him in a money laundering case related to ‘illegal recruitment’ by the Delhi Waqf Board. According to the information received, he has been ordered to appear again next week. The investigating agency interrogated Khan for about 13 hours.
Speaking to ANI after appearing before the ED, AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan said, “I was called for questioning (by the ED), the Supreme Court had directed me to appear. So I came at 11:00 in the morning. “I was interrogated and my statement was recorded and now I am going (home).” When the journalist asked him what would happen next? So he replied that there is nothing further, just the documents etc. have to be submitted.
