Hide your DP like this
- First of all open WhatsApp in your smartphone.
- After opening the app, you have to tap or click on the three dots given above.
- Then you have to tap on Settings from the options given there.
- On the next page, you will get the privacy option.
- Here you have to tap on the profile photo.
- After this you will get four options here – Everyone, My Contacts, My Contacts Except and Nobody.
- In this, you will have to tap on My Contacts Except and select those contacts to whom you do not want to show your DP.
- In this way you can hide your DP without blocking anyone.
If you choose Everyone from the above options, then your DP will be visible to all WhatsApp users whether they are in your contact or not. Whereas, if you choose My Contacts, then your DP will be visible only to those users who are in your contact list. Apart from this, if you choose the option of Noone, then your DP will not be visible to anyone, whether they are in your contact or not, it will not make any difference.
