New Delhi. America has refused to give visa to Arun Yogiraj, who made a beautiful idol of Shri Ram Lalla for the Ram temple in Ayodhya. Arun had applied for a US visa about two months ago. Arun’s visa application was rejected on August 10. The US authorities have neither given any reason nor issued any statement in this regard. Arun Yogiraj, who became famous overnight by making the idol of Ram Lalla, had to go to America for 20 days to attend a program.
Arun had filled the visa application form for attending the Vishwa Kannada Sammelan organized by the Association of Kannada Coutes of America in Richmond, Virginia. The event is to be held from August 30 to September 1, 2024 at the Greater Richmond Convention Center in Virginia. The aim of the Vishwa Kannada Sammelan is to celebrate Kannada culture and heritage. Arun Yogi has been invited to attend this event in the US as a tribute to him for making the idol of Shri Ram Lalla at the Ramjanmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya.
On the other hand, the organizers of the program have also expressed surprise at the cancellation of Arun Yogiraj’s visa application. Let us tell you that Arun’s wife and other family members have already reached America to attend this program, so now Arun’s trip has been cancelled due to not getting a visa. Arun’s family members say that he has participated in such programs many times before without any problem, but this time the cancellation of the visa application is surprising. It is worth noting that Arun Yogiraj’s father, grandfather, great grandfather were all famous sculptors of their time, but by making the idol of Shri Ramlala, Arun has become famous not only in the country but also abroad.
