The US has relaxed the official COVID-19 travel rating for some more countries including India. The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the State Department on Monday moved India from Level 3 to Level 1 category. After which it will be easier for the people of America to travel to India.
The CDC said it has changed its COVID-19 travel recommendation for India from Level 3 (High Level) to Level 1 (Low). Apart from India, the CDC has also put Chad, Guinea and Namibia in Level 1. During the second wave, the US had put some other countries including India in the list of high risk countries after the increase in the goods of the corona virus.
After 1,270 new cases of corona virus were reported in India on Monday, the number of people infected with the corona virus in the country so far increased to 4,30,20,723. At the same time, the number of active patients has come down to 15,859. According to the data, the number of patients under treatment for COVID-19 in the country has come down to 15,859, which is 0.04 percent of the total cases.
On Monday, a decrease of 328 was recorded in the number of patients under treatment in the last 24 hours. The national recovery rate of patients is 98.75 percent. The daily rate of infection was recorded at 0.29 per cent and the weekly rate at 0.26 per cent.
