Washington: India is emerging as a new power in the whole world. In such a situation, all the powerful countries of the world want to be friends with India. At the same time, the countries that are already friends of India want to deepen their bilateral partnership. In this episode, America also wants to strengthen its bilateral relations with India. American A bipartisan US Congressional delegation led by Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Michael McCaul will visit India to strengthen bilateral ties and meet Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama.
In India, the delegation will meet the 14th Dalai Lama, Indian government officials and representatives of US businesses in the country. “India is the world’s largest democracy and an important strategic partner of the United States,” McCaul said. “I look forward to meeting with government officials and the US business community to explore how we can strengthen our ties with India,” he added.

McCaul said, “I am honored to have the opportunity to meet the Dalai Lama. Tibetans are democracy-loving people who want to practice their religion freely. This visit will help to express our opinion about the future of Tibet in the US Congress.” The dates of the visit have not been mentioned in the US statement. Official sources in New Delhi said on Friday that the delegation will visit Dharamsala on June 18 and 19. (Language)
