Different US companies have committed investments worth more than Rs 31,500 crore in India’s southern state of Telangana. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and his team have just completed their visit to the US. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, who visited the US, secured investment commitments worth more than Rs 31,500 crore from US companies. This investment will create more than 30,750 jobs in the state.
IT and Industry Minister D. Sridhar Babu was also part of the delegation
According to an official press release issued on Sunday, the Telangana government delegation, which included IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu and several other officials, concluded 19 investment deals/MoUs during more than 50 business meetings and three round table summits in New York, Washington DC, Dallas and California. This will bring a total investment of Rs 31,500 crore to Telangana and generate employment for 30,750 people.
Important talks held with Apple, Google officials
According to the official press release, the delegation received huge support for various key initiatives including the creation of Future City, AI City, revival of Musi River. The delegation, led by Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, also interacted with officials from Apple, Google, Stanford University.
US visit paved the way for many sectors
Before leaving for South Korea, Telangana CM Revanth Reddy said, “This visit has paved the way for accelerated partnerships across sectors. From our plans in artificial intelligence to building the city of the future, corporations, startups, industrialists, technology and business associations and influencers have agreed to take our vision to more people.”
