New Delhi: Tension is rising between the rest of the world’s superpowers amid the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. Recently, US officials said that Moscow has sought economic and military assistance from Beijing. Now the statement of Russia has come in this matter. Russia has said that it has never asked China for military aid. Russian President Vladimir Putin’s media secretary Dmitry Piskov said Russia has sufficient military resources in the war against Ukraine.
In fact, the American website Bloomberg quoted a US official as claiming that Russia has sought military and economic assistance from China. The US official claimed that Russia had sought economic and military help from China after declaring war on Ukraine on April 24. The statement of the spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry has also come in this matter. The Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman said that ‘the US is unnecessarily spreading false information by targeting China’. China has not directly opposed Russia’s military action against Ukraine. However, China has been accusing NATO of not averting the Russo-Ukraine war.
On the other hand, efforts are going on at the diplomatic level to stop the war between Russia-Ukraine. Both sides have also agreed to talk to each other. Russia, on the other hand, is constantly bombing cities and airports in Ukraine. According to Oleksiy Aristovich, media adviser to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, since February 24, Russian attacks have killed 2,500 people near the Black Sea port in the city of Paryupol. According to a report by the United Nations Refugee Agency, about 2.7 million people left Ukraine on Saturday, of which 1.7 million have gone to Poland.
