Delhi Police has now summoned Jharkhand Congress President Rajesh Thakur, Nagaland Congress President Khridi Theunio and Samajwadi Party spokesperson Manoj Kaka in the fake video case of Home Minister Amit Shah’s statement on reservation. All of them have been asked to appear before the Intelligence Fusion and Strategic Operations Unit of Delhi Police along with their mobiles, laptops and other electronic devices. The X handle of Jharkhand Congress has also been closed.
At the same time, there is also news that Delhi Police is not satisfied with the reply of Telangana CM Revanth Reddy in the fake video case of Amit Shah. Advocate Soumya Gupta, on behalf of Revanth Reddy, appeared before the Delhi Police unit on Wednesday and filed a reply. In his reply, Revanth Reddy has said that he has no concern with the ex-handle of Telangana Congress. According to Revanth Reddy, the X handle of Telangana Congress through which the fake video of Amit Shah was made viral is not theirs. Revanth Reddy has also told that he does not know who runs the Ax handle of Telangana Congress. Revanth Reddy has also said that he does not know from which mobile the fake video of Amit Shah was shared. Revanth Reddy has said that he did not share the video. Let us tell you that Revanth Reddy is not only the CM of Telangana but also holds the post of State Congress President. For this reason the police is not satisfied with their answer.
In fact, in a public meeting, Amit Shah had said that if the government is formed, BJP will remove reservation for Muslims and give it to OBCs, Dalits and tribals. The video of this statement was edited and made viral in such a way that it seemed as if Amit Shah had talked about ending reservation. The video went viral within no time. It was taken forward through all the handles of Congress. After this the Home Ministry gave a complaint to Delhi Police. After which Delhi Police has rapidly increased the investigation and sent its team to many states. Congress and Aam Aadmi Party workers from Gujarat and one person from Assam have also been arrested in this case.
