Amritpal Singh has also said that he will not be a candidate of any party. That means he is preparing to enter the electoral arena as an independent candidate.

During this time Amritpal Singh had managed to escape. After a search for about 2 months from Haryana, Delhi to UP and Himachal, Punjab Police was successful in arresting Amritpal Singh from Moga.
