The Chief Minister said that this is not the first time that when an accused has been released, earlier also many accused have been released. But don’t know why some people are questioning the release of Anand Mohan. Further, referring to Sushil Kumar Modi, he said that he too had earlier demanded the release of Anand Mohan, but today he is questioning us.
The Chief Minister further said that so far 22 Parihar Board meetings have been held in Bihar. Anand Mohan has been in jail for more than 15 years. 698 prisoners were released. This law has been abolished in Bihar, what is the problem in it. The Chief Minister said in a questioning tone that there should be no difference between the murder of the common man and the Chief Minister. He said that earlier the state’s Chief Secretary Aamir Subhani had also issued a statement clarifying the situation. Let us tell you that on April 10, CM Nitish Kumar had changed the jail rules, due to which the release of Anand Mohan was possible. Keep in mind that Rule 481 (i) (a) of the Jail Rules, 2012 has been amended. Before the amendment in the rule, the murder of any public servant on duty was removed from the category of exception, only after which the release of Anand Mohan was possible. At the same time, the political mercury has also heated up due to the amendment made in the jail rules by CM Nitish recently. Actually, Anand Mohan comes from Rajput caste. In such a situation, it is believed that CM Nitish Kumar had paved the way for the release of Anand Mohan in order to woo the Rajput voters in his favor in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
