Granal in old ashram, gifts to disabled children
Bahrod. The examples of humanity and service were presented on Hanuman Jayanti on Saturday under the Kadamb Development and Research Foundation, Bahrod’s campaign “Kishan Ka Kadamb, Ann Ka Oar”. Shilpa Barbarik Aggarwal, director of the organization, said that “the most beautiful way to share happiness is – Annadan. This is our tradition, in which God is seen in every creature.”
As part of this campaign, the elderly were served food in the “our Ghar Vriddhi Ashram” located in Neemrana and cold water bottles were distributed in view of the heat. On this occasion, institution president Ashok Kumar Gupta (Advocate) said that the program was organized on the birthday of Aarti Akash son Atharva.
At the same time, Divyam Aggarwal, while assuming more virtuous grain than cutting the cake on the birthday, said that “the spiritual satisfaction that is distributed by distributing food is not possible to anyone else.”
Colors, carromboard, Ludo and Memory Skill Development Games were distributed to Divyang children at Sharabati Devi School in Bahrod in the second phase of gifts for disabled children. Also, delicious food, juices and fruits were distributed to the children to commemorate the birthday of Vasu (Shikha Subhash Gupta’s grandson and son of Pooja Sanskar Agarwal).
Many volunteers including Rianshi Aggarwal, Bhagwanti Devi, Gopal Gupta, Rakhi Aggarwal, Megha, Nripendra, Darshan, Renuka Yadav, Reena Mudgal made active participation in this service campaign.
Umesh Shankar, Ankit Sharma, Narendra Yadav were also present from the old ashram “Our house Radhe Radhe Sharanam”. Anil, Ravi and Ramvatar from Sharabati Devi school supported the program.
This initiative of the Kadamb Foundation is inspiring for the society, which shows that the festival can be given a new definition through service.
