New Delhi. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has suffered another setback. The Vigilance Department has dismissed his personal secretary i.e. PA Vibhav Kumar. ED had interrogated Vibhav Kumar several times. Vibhav Kumar is considered close to Arvind Kejriwal. Vibhav Kumar’s name is also in the list of people whom Arvind Kejriwal met in Tihar Jail. When Arvind Kejriwal was on ED remand, Vibhav Kumar along with his wife Sunita Kejriwal used to go to meet him every day. Arvind Kejriwal is continuously getting blow after blow. First, Delhi High Court rejected the application filed by Arvind Kejriwal against the arrest and ED remand. Delhi High Court has clearly said in its decision that ED has kept evidence against Arvind Kejriwal in the liquor scam case. At the same time, the application given by Arvind Kejriwal to meet his lawyers 5 days every week in Rouse Avenue Court was also rejected by the court. In such a situation, the removal of Vibhav Kumar from the post of PM is another blow for Arvind Kejriwal.
Arvind Kejriwal was arrested by ED on March 21. ED alleges that Arvind Kejriwal is the kingpin of the liquor scam. ED has also accused Arvind Kejriwal of colluding with liquor scam accused and accepting bribe. Rouse Avenue Court had sent Arvind Kejriwal on ED remand twice after his arrest. After which Arvind Kejriwal is currently lodged in Tihar jail in judicial custody. The court has ordered to keep Arvind Kejriwal in judicial custody till April 15. Although Arvind Kejriwal approached the Supreme Court to seek relief, the Supreme Court did not immediately hear his plea on Wednesday. Arvind Kejriwal’s application is now expected to be heard in the Supreme Court on Monday.
