Mumbai Anushka Sharma, wife of Bollywood actress and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) star batsman Virat Kohli, has expressed grief over the death of many people in a stampede in Karnataka capital Bangalore. The actress has also shared the official statement of IPL team RCB on her Instagram. The official statement of the RCB said, “We are very unhappy with the unfortunate incidents that came out through media reports about the crowd of people in Bengaluru this afternoon. The safety and goodness of all is most important for us.”

There was an atmosphere of enthusiasm on the streets of Bengaluru after winning the IPL Trophy after waiting for 18 years. Actress’s husband and batsman Virat Kohli has been a part of Royal Challengers Bangalore from the first season of IPL.
After the team’s victory, Virat, who was emotional on the field, took time to express his feelings in words. She thanked the actress on her Instagram on Wednesday that she stood with her in every difficult time. He shared a picture of himself and his wife from the high-voltage IPL 2025 final held at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
He also wrote a long note in the caption, “I have seen it for 18 years and have seen it for 11 years. Mashe has been faced by a single moment and celebrating the madness of our supporters in every close victory and Chinnaswamy.
Batting first, RCB scored 190 runs at the loss of nine wickets in 20 overs in the IPL final. Kohli was the top scorer for RCB, scoring 43 runs off 35 balls. Punjab fast bowlers Arshdeep Singh and Kyle Jaymison took six wickets together. In response, Punjab Kings started well, but lost the rhythm in the middle and the team lost the match by six runs scoring 184–7.
