Today we are going to tell you about one such problem whose main reason is our unhealthy eating habits and wrong lifestyle. Yes, we are talking about thyroid which increases the risk of life after entering the body. In case of thyroid problem, we need to pay special attention to our diet. Let us tell you what suggestions Dr. Sarika Srivastava, a dietician of the capital Raipur, has given to thyroid patients.

Dietitian Dr. Sarika Srivastava told Local18 that there are two types of thyroid. Hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism. If you are a patient of hypothyroidism, then you should not include cabbage, cauliflower, soybean, peanuts, mustard in your diet. If you are a patient of hyperthyroidism, then you must include cabbage, cauliflower, soybean, peanuts, mustard in your diet. All these are things that increase iodine absorption. These things should not be included in hypothyroidism.

Patients of hypothyroidism should use brown rice instead of white rice. Eating multigrain food and stopping the use of gluten is very important. Skin milk should be used in dairy products. Turmeric milk and gourd can be eaten. Soaking green or whole coriander overnight and consuming it in the morning increases the absorption of iodine, so patients of hypothyroidism should definitely include coriander in their diet. Fast food, junk food, Chinese food and things containing gluten should not be eaten.
