New Delhi. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Sanjay Singh has made an important claim about Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and alleged that he is being threatened while being in Tihar Jail. Sanjay Singh said, “How does the Modi government want to keep the thrice elected Chief Minister like a dictator? They want to convert Tihar Jail into a gas chamber. The rights that even the most heinous criminals have been given to communicate with their families. Those rights are also being taken away from Arvind Kejriwal by the Modi government.”
“Then the meetings will be stopped.”
The AAP MP said, “Arvind Kejriwal has said through his lawyers in a meeting that elected representatives should go to their constituencies and work. “An investigation into the matter has been initiated and threats are being made that meetings will be held with lawyers and family members.” He said that Arvind Kejriwal cannot gather information, inquire about his family and meet his lawyers while in jail.
Sanjay Singh commented, “Even during legal meetings, 8-10 policemen stand guard, although legal provisions dictate that no one can listen to conversations between lawyers and their clients. Do you want to convert Delhi’s Tihar Jail into Hitler’s gas chamber, torture chamber?” Can’t a Chief Minister send a message to his MLAs?”
