Arvind Kejriwal is in jail, but his wife Sunita Kejriwal is active in politics outside, now she met the ‘king maker’ of politics

Pune: Arvind Kejriwal is currently in Tihar Jail in the Delhi liquor scam case. Due to his being in jail, Sunita Kejriwal has become very active in politics. Sunita Kejriwal, wife of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, met Sharad Pawar at his office in Pune. Many speculations are being made after this meeting in the election season. However, sources in the Aam Aadmi Party say that this was a courtesy meeting. Sanjay Singh was also present when Sunita Kejriwal met Sharad Pawar.

It is being told that this meeting took place at Sharad Pawar’s office in Pune late on Sunday evening. Sunita Kejriwal refused to talk to the media before returning to Delhi the same day. This meeting has taken place at a time when preparations are going on for the assembly elections to be held in Maharashtra in November. Apart from this, Aam Aadmi Party and Sharad Pawar’s NCP-SCP are part of India Alliance at the national level. Earlier in July, Sharad Pawar had joined a rally of Aam Aadmi Party, in which a demand was made to release Kejriwal from jail in view of his ill health.

After Arvind Kejriwal went to jail, the party made Sunita its star campaigner in the Lok Sabha elections and now she has been given the same role in the Haryana elections. Elections are to be held in Haryana on 1 October. At the same time, Manish Sisodia says that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s wife Sunita has played a great role in spreading the spirit of struggle of her husband who is in jail to the people. He indicated that her (Sunita Kejriwal) political role may end after the party chief comes out of Tihar Jail.

Currently, Manish Sisodia is out of jail on bail. He is continuously doing padyatra. After Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest on March 21 in the excise policy case, Sunita Kejriwal has acted as a bridge between him and the party and has also played an important role in AAP’s campaign for the Lok Sabha elections in Delhi, Gujarat and Haryana. Praising Sunita Kejriwal as a well-educated, polite and experienced woman, Manish Sisodia said that the party needed her in times of crisis. Let us tell you that Sunita Kejriwal addressed the rally of opposition alliance ‘India’ at Ramlila Maidan in March. She also went to Ranchi to join ‘India’s “Nyay Ulgulan Rally” in April.
