New Delhi. A new order has come from Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who is in jail in the money laundering case related to the alleged liquor scam in Delhi, to the Delhi government. Delhi minister and senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Atishi Marlena has given information about CM Kejriwal’s order. Let us tell you that Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena had clearly said that the Delhi government cannot be run from jail. Despite this, CM Arvind Kejriwal has given a new order to the government through Delhi minister and AAP leader. Arvind Kejriwal was arrested by ED on March 21 in the money laundering case. In the meantime, the Supreme Court granted him interim bail to campaign in the Lok Sabha elections. After the bail period expired, he surrendered before the Tihar Jail administration.
Senior AAP leader Atishi Marlena has informed the Delhi government about the new order given by jailed Arvind Kejriwal. She said that CM Kejriwal has issued instructions from Tihar Jail. According to Atishi, CM Kejriwal said that the pace of development work in Delhi should be doubled. On the special instructions of Chief Minister Kejriwal, Atishi and her cabinet colleague Saurabh Bhardwaj have held a meeting with the MLAs of Aam Aadmi Party. The problems of the assembly constituency of every MLA were discussed in the meeting.

Atishi Marlena gave information about CM Kejriwal’s new order. Delhi’s cabinet minister said that whether Kejriwal is in jail or outside, he has always given priority to the welfare of the people of Delhi. No matter how many conspiracies were hatched against Arvind Kejriwal, he never let the work stop. Let us tell you that Arvind Kejriwal was adamant on running the Delhi government from jail. On the other hand, Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor had made it clear that the government cannot be run from jail.
Jail again after interim bail
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is currently lodged in Tihar Jail in the money laundering case related to the liquor scam. The Supreme Court had granted interim bail to Arvind Kejriwal to campaign in the Lok Sabha elections. After the completion of the interim bail period, he had to surrender before the Tihar Jail administration. However, he had demanded extension of interim bail for 7 more days on the basis of health checkup, but his request was rejected by the Supreme Court as well as the trial court. After this, he had to surrender before the Tihar Jail administration on 2 June 2024.
