Rahul Kaushik. Bhilwara. There was a commotion in the District and Sessions Court of Bhilwara when an undertrial prisoner in a theft case threw a slipper at the judge during the hearing. After this, there was chaos in the court premises. Lawyers and other people gathered at the spot. After getting information about the incident, the police including Kotwal Rajpal Singh reached the spot and took the accused into custody and took him to the police station. The bail hearing of this undertrial prisoner was being held in the theft case.
The accused got angry when the next date was given. The accused asked the judge to pronounce the verdict today itself but the magistrate gave the next date. Other advocates and peons present in the court started talking to the magistrate about some document. During this time, he threw his slippers at the magistrate.
Kotwal Rajpal Singh said that information was received that the undertrial prisoner had thrown slippers at the magistrate sahab during the hearing. We reached the spot. A case has been filed against the accused.
The bride called the groom and asked him how far the wedding procession had reached. He got a loving reply and the marriage could not take place.
Accused Smile said, ‘I was in jail for 3 years in a theft case of Pratap Nagar police station. The case was pending in the court. I had applied for bail 5 times but every time during the hearing I was told that I would be given a sentence of 7 years. The judge was not giving any verdict, so I was hurt and threw my slippers.’
The accused has been sent to judicial custody again. A case is being registered against the accused by the magistrate. He will be arrested on a production warrant.
