Patna. As soon as KK Pathak went on leave, the timing of schools in Bihar has changed. Now teachers will have to do duty only from 7 am to 11 am. Teachers will be able to go home from school after 11 am. ACS Dr. S. Siddharth has given orders to all DEOs. This timing has been fixed till 8 June.
According to the new order, teachers will come to school at 7 am and can go home after 11 am. Earlier, it was mandatory for teachers to remain in school till 1.30 pm. Mission Daksh and special classes used to run from 12 noon to 1.30 pm. At present, Mission Daksh and special classes are also not running in schools. Therefore, teachers have been asked to remain in school only till 12 noon.
ACS Dr. S. Siddharth said in his order, ‘Teaching in schools is closed till June 8. In such a situation, the DEO will determine the time for the work to be done by the headmaster and teachers from June 3 to June 8, 2024 as per convenience. During this time, the monthly evaluation copies will be checked, the answer sheets will be evaluated after the re-examination of the failed children of class V, VIII, IX, XI. Also, the evaluation of the answer sheets of the examination taken by the children of Mission Daksh, the work related to the enrollment of children in class IX will be done.’
Now the headmaster will remain in the school till 12.30 pm and he has to join the video conferencing from 11.30 am to 12.30 pm every day. Schools will be inspected from 7 am to 11 am.
