New Delhi. People have a lot of fear regarding the Corona vaccine of British healthcare company AstraZeneca. The reason for this is that AstraZeneca has admitted in the British High Court that some people taking its vaccine may have thrombosis and thrombocytopenia syndrome i.e. TTS. In both these cases, blood clots form in the body and there is also a deficiency of platelets. AstraZeneca’s Covishield vaccine was manufactured by the Serum Institute in India. No statement has come from Serum Institute yet in this matter.
According to the information, apart from thrombosis and thrombocytopenia, AstraZeneca’s adenovirus vaccine can also have many other side effects. Guillain Barre syndrome is also present among them. Guillain Barré syndrome can cause paralysis in the arms and legs. Facial weakness i.e. Bell’s palsy, stroke, cerebral sinus thrombosis and heart attack are also included in the side effects of this vaccine. Many countries had stopped administering the AstraZeneca vaccine after information about blood clot formation came to light. Earlier, many side effects of Corona vaccine of Johnson & Johnson company made in America were also revealed. After the administration of Corona vaccine in India, cases of some patients related to it came to light. According to government data, 620 people died in India after taking the Corona vaccine. Considering the population of the country, this number is very low.
AstraZeneca has now issued a statement expressing its condolences on the deaths and problems caused to people by its vaccine. AstraZeneca has also declared its vaccine to be very safe, but the way it has admitted in the court about thrombosis and thrombocytopenia, people are naturally afraid of it. However, many doctors on various social media handles have asked people not to be afraid. These doctors have said that problems can occur only after a few days of taking the vaccine. There is no possibility of the vaccine having side effects in the long run. Also, doctors say that every medicine has some side effect on the body.
People who took Covishield two years ago need not worry about TTS or blood clots now: adverse effects such as TTS are seen within 6 weeks of taking the vaccine, and are extremely rare. https://t.co/nAudFsWIZk
