An official statement from the Meteorological Department indicates that there is a possibility of rain in the northeastern states and the Indo-Gangetic plains. Scattered moderate rain with isolated thunderstorm, lightning and gusty winds (30-40 km/hr) is expected over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim from April 23 to April 24, 2024. Similar weather conditions are likely to occur in Gangetic West Bengal and Jharkhand on April 23, 2024.

On April 23, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder, lightning and strong winds in East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh. Light rain with isolated thunderstorms and lightning is expected over Central Maharashtra and Marathwada on April 24, 2024, and over Konkan and Goa on April 23.

Talking about the weather of the country’s capital Delhi, according to the Meteorological Department, there will be no rain in the areas of Delhi NCR during the next seven days, but there is no possibility of heat wave. The sky will be clear during the day on Tuesday. Along with this, strong winds will also blow. Wind speed can be 25 to 35 kilometers per hour. Due to this, the maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 38 and 22 degrees Celsius respectively.

Light to moderate rain is possible in Northeast India between 23 and 24 April.
