New Delhi, June 20, 2022: Cargo-Partner, a global logistics services provider, has announced plans to expand to over 10 Indian cities in the next 2-3 years. With this expansion, the cargo-partner will be present in more than 24 cities and all major major cities of India. The company aims to expand its footprint across the country by the end of FY 2025 and become the leader in India’s national logistics market and this rapid expansion is being done in this sequence.
Mr. Rajeev Singh, Regional Director (Indo-ASEAN), Cargo-Partner, said, “Cargo-Partner will create a lot of employment opportunities and will employ 500 employees in these cities during FY 2022 to 2025. They are engaged in automotive and spare parts. It will serve B2B companies working in the areas of parts, fashion and lifestyle, food and perishables and pharmaceuticals and healthcare.
The increase in demand from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities is also one of the main reasons why Cargo-Partner is expanding its services.” It is planning to expand into the warehousing sector to meet the demand.
Over the years, the Cargo-partner has invested heavily in expanding its e-commerce and warehousing capabilities. In 2021 alone, the company has increased its global warehouse capacity from 2,60,000 sqm to 2,80,000 sqm in many other countries including Germany, Croatia, Slovenia, China and Thailand. The company provides its expertise in e-commerce and complete fulfillment services in more than 40 locations, including Europe, Asia and the Americas.
The company is also looking at the possibilities of growth in the pharmaceutical sector and the company believes that India is one of the largest pharmaceutical manufacturers in the world and there is immense potential for new ideas from big companies to flourish in this area.
In 2020, the Cargo-partner has opened its GDP-compliant Competition Center for the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector in Mumbai, along with “Pharma Competition Centers” in Vienna and Hamburg. With this the cargo-partner is providing its customers in India GDP-friendly services in the areas of warehousing, national and international trucking services as well as international air and sea freight.
