New Delhi. Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner and popular YouTuber Elvish Yadav has been granted bail by the NDPS trial court in a case related to alleged smuggling of snake venom in rave parties. The court granted bail to Yadav on a bond of Rs. 50,000, pending further proceedings to determine his release. Elvish Yadav was booked along with five others for supplying snake venom for entertainment at parties in the Delhi-NCR region. The case was registered based on the complaint of an animal welfare activist, following which a police investigation began. The allegations reveal that Yadav sourced snakes and poison from a village near Badarpur in Delhi, considered a hub of snake charmers, to fulfill his demands ranging from handling snakes to providing trainers for parties.
Rahul, one of the accused, revealed to the police that he arranged for snakes and poison as per requirement, which also included arranging meetings between Yadav and Haryanvi singer Fazilpuriya. A red diary recovered from Rahul’s residence contains details of the transactions, which mention Yadav’s participation in parties organized at Film City in Noida and a farmhouse in Chhatarpur. Each page of the diary documents the party dates, organiser, venue, time and payment details for snakes, poison, trainers and other services provided for the Bollywood and YouTuber parties.

Despite getting bail in the snake venom case, Yadav’s troubles are not over yet. He faces charges related to an assault case involving Sagar Thakur, also known as Maxtern, which is scheduled to be heard in a Gurugram court on March 27. Police sought a production warrant for Yadav after a video surfaced which allegedly showed Thakur pushing him to the ground and slapping him.
