Arshad Nadeem and Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam
Arshad Nadeem Babar Azam: Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem has performed brilliantly in the Paris Olympics 2024. He has created history by winning the gold medal in the javelin throw event. He is the only player to win a gold medal in an individual event for Pakistan. No one had been able to do so before him. He had also reached the final of javelin throw last time. But then he could not win the medal. Now Arshad’s gold has opened new doors for Pakistan in the Olympics.
Babar Azam did this tweet
After Arshad Nadeem won the gold, Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam congratulated him. But he made a big mistake while tweeting. Babar has written on the social media platform X that gold has returned to Pakistan after 30 years. Many congratulations to Arshad Nadeem for this great achievement. You have made the whole country proud.
This big mistake was made by Babar
Babar Azam wrote in his tweet that Pakistan has won the gold medal after 30 years. Whereas this is not the case. Pakistan won its last gold medal in the Olympics in 1984. That is, Pakistan has won the Olympic gold after 40 years, not 30 years. This is not the first time that Babar Azam has made mistakes on social media. After Babar’s mistake, fans have trolled him.
Arshad Nadeem created history by winning the gold medal
Arshad Nadeem threw a throw of 92.97 meters in the javelin throw final, which is an Olympic record. India’s Neeraj Chopra came second. He won the silver medal. Arshad’s first throw in the final was a foul. But after that he performed so well that he created a historic record. Pakistan has so far won a total of four gold medals in the Olympics, out of which three have come in hockey and one in javelin throw.
