Banaskantha. 18 laborers died tragically after a boiler exploded in a horrific accident at a cracker factory in Banaskantha district of Gujarat on Tuesday. Many other laborers have been seriously injured in this incident, whose treatment is going on in the hospital. After this accident, the police, while taking quick action, arrested the main accused Deepak Monani from Eider.
There was also a license for the first fireworks warehouse in the name of Deepak Monani. The police is now investigating whether this accident happened due to negligence or there is any other reason behind it. Deepak Monani’s father Khubchand Monani is still away from the police custody. The police is constantly raiding in search of him.
Many leaders including President Draupadi Murmu, State Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel expressed grief over this incident. The Chief Minister has announced a compensation of four lakh rupees for the families of the deceased and 50-50 thousand rupees for the injured.
President Murmu wrote on the social media platform X, “The incident of death of people due to fire in Banaskantha is heartbreaking. I express deep condolences to the family members who lost their relatives. I pray to God that all the injured should be healthy soon.”
Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel wrote on X, “The incident of death of workers due to fire in a firecracker factory in Deesa is heartbroken. In this hour of grief, my heartfelt condolences are with the families of the dead. I am in constant contact with the administration regarding relief, rescue and treatment work in this disaster. The administration has been instructed to ensure that the injured have received a quick and proper treatment. The money will provide the amount of money. I pray that God should give peace to the souls of the deceased workers and recover the injured soon. “
